There's no audio!
If you are on iPhone you should check the device side switch.
If you're using an iPad you should try the following:
1) press twice on the home button
2) swipe to left
3) check if speaker is disabled
Attention: due to a Dolby Corporation request we have removed some audio codec. For this reason, the App is not able to reproduce sound for some videos type. Sorry for this.
to add a website in your Bookmark, you must tap the square icon that appears on the bottom bar, then choose to add to bookmark.
To open a bookmark, use the browser menu.
probably you denied Amerigo to access your camera roll. Please open the iPhone/iPad main setting panel and verify the settings in the image privacy panel.
To delete files tap on edit, select files then tap on the trash icon on bottom right
First tap on EDIT, then select the media you want to send. Tap on the arrow icon on the bottom menù. Select "Send in Email". A standard email will be created, put the email address and send..
If the email doesn't start, verify your general email setting!
There's two ways to transfer files from your FREE Amerigo to the PAID Amerigo.
You can use both wifi transfer or iTunes file sharing:
Transfer Files throgh WiFi:
1.Open Total Downloader FREE, TAP the WiFi icon and follow the instructions to connect from PC/Mac. Now copy the files you want to transfer from the FTP folder to the PC/Mac. Close Total Downloader FREE
2. Open Total Downloader PAID. TAP the WiFi icon and follow the instructions to connect from PC/Mac. Now copy the files you want to transfer from the PC/Mac to the FTP folder. Close Amerigo PAID.
Transfer files throgh iTunes:
To use iTunes file sharing please check this guide from Apple
To open the help page, open integrated browser and simply TAP on the arrow on bottom right . A menù will appears, tap on the arrow and choose HELP.
Firstly you need to create a pin by pressing the "bolt" button on the top bar of the archive section.
After this you should press on the circular button near the folder name and select "Hide": by doing this you will always need to put in your pin (by pressing the bolt button) to view your folders.
NOTE THAT IF YOU FORGET THE PASSWORD, NOONE CAN UNLOCK THIS FOLDERS ANYMORE!!
By pressing the edit button on top you will see a toolbar on the bottom. You can then use standard commands to cut/copy from source folder and paste to destination folder (you need to go to the destination and press edit -> paste).
To create a new folder, tap on Edit on the archive screen and tap the folder icon on the bar that appears on the bottom.
You should press the edit button, select media and then press the "save to camera roll" on the bottom toolbar (arrow icon). Please note that only video format supported by Apple can be saved.
It's necesary to change the user agent in Settings -> user agent. The setting icon is the last one on the bottom bar. You can use the standard setting for the user agent to solve the flash issue.
There's two ways to transfer files from PC or Mac to Amerigo:
1) iTunes file sharing: here is the official Apple guide
2) Wifi:Tap the WiFi icon on the archive section and follow the instructions. In this way you will activate a FTP session to copy and paste files from PC/Mac to the App.
There's two ways to transfer files from Amerigo to Pc or Mac:
1) iTunes file sharing: To use iTunes, connect your device, tap on iPhone on top right and open the APP panel. Scroll down to "Document Sharing" then find and Tap on Amerigo in the list and you'll be able to see all contents on the right panel. Choose "save to" to save files on your PC/mac.
2) Wifi:Tap the WiFi icon on the archive section and follow the instructions. In this way you will activate an HHTP or FTP session to copy and paste files from Amerigo to PC/Mac.
If you are experiencing problems during file transfer, check this steps:
HTTP: please be sure you have correctly typed the URL address that is shown in the WiFi tip.
FTP session:
1. Check your Wifi connection
2. In Windows: Be sure you are using the "file browser" and not an Internet browser (right click on the main windows start menu, the choose browse files) - In Mac: use an FTP client such as CyberDuck.
3. Check the FTP address
4. Be sure that both the Pc/mac and the device are in the same network
5. Be sure that the HTTP or the FTP session is not expired. In this case restart the connection
To delete all downloads from the list tap on "Empty". If you want to delete only a file, tap on it and swipe right, then tap on delete.
To surf the web without saving any history, open the TD main option panel and set the "private browser" option to ON.
To change the passcode, open the TD main option panel and choose "change Passcode". Follow the instructions.
Those settings are in the main setting panel. Tap on Clear History to delete the browser history or tap on clear cookies to delete cookies.
To change the user agent, open the setting panel and choose the user agent you desire. Note that the Standard setting are the best to download from any website.
When your device is locked, iOS will shut down any App after 10 min.
To avoid this and continue to download files also in background, you can use a trick: Start a playlist while you are downloading then close the app. iOS will not terminate Amerigo!
NOTE: this issue has been solved in the new iOS7. In this release, downloads will continue in background without any interruption.
This problem may appears if you are not connected to a WiFi or 3G lan. First verify your connection, then open the setting panel in Total Downloader and set the user agent to "Default".
The app supports uploads and downloads from many Cloud service:
- GDrive
- DropBox
- SkyDrive
- WebDav (also Nas)
You can create your own cloud account for FREE on the main website of any of those listed providers. Once you have registered your account, you can setup the app to read the data from the cloud to show you the saved folders and files.
To setup a cloud account, open the App, so open the FILE section. Now tap on the CLOUD icon on the bottom bar, then choose to ADD a new account. Select now the cloud provider and wait for the LOGIN form.
Insert your username and password then LOGIN. From now on, the App will list your cloud account (and any folders or files saved on it) in the FILE section.
You can simply move files from the local archive to the cloud (UPLOAD) with a simple CUT/COPY and paste in the desired cloud folder. You can also move files from your cloud account to the local archive (DOWNLOAD). Note that nothing will be downloaded from the cloud unless you choose to move files from the cloud to the local archive.
The App has a download section and an Upload section. The Upload section will show you the cloud queue upload. To copy a file from the local archive to a Cloud, first you must open the file section of the app, then localize the folder that contains the file you want to move.
Now Tap On EDIT on top right, then select the file you want to move (tap on the circle icon on its left).
Now Tap on the cloud icon on the bottom bar (fifth icon from left).
Now Tap on the desired Cloud account
The app now load the folder available on the Cloud
Choose the folder in which you want to move the file then tap on the ADD icon (“ ”)
Now you file are listened in the UPLOAD section of the app.
To open the file, open the file section of the app, then tap on the right Cloud account.
The App allows to extract mp3/m4a audio tracks from videos. To extract the audio track, select the video file and tap to open the contextual menu (use the right circle button), then choose to convert. The audio file will be saved in the same folder of the video.
